Rockchair – The heart in the right place
As a Berlin-based company, Rockchair GmbH is aware of its social responsibility and is involved in various social projects. A selection of specific projects is not always easy. There are far too many good and necessary projects in the world. Hospitality & Accommodation – these two terms characterize the daily actions in our company. We would therefore like to relate our social commitment predominantly to these two concepts.
The forms of the respective support range from small donations in kind to the provision of human resources and financial donations. Each project is unique and requires individual support.
It is the small gestures and gifts that, under certain circumstances, can quickly grow in size and importance and become vital measures.
Among other things, we support the Kältebus (“cold bus”) of the Berliner Stadtmission. From the beginning of November to the end of March, the Kältebus and its team look for helpless homeless people who can no longer find an emergency cold shelter on their own. The Kältebus staff first try to talk to them, offering their help, a cup of hot tea or a warm sleeping bag. At their request, they are then driven to a safe and warm place to spend the night. It is the small gestures and gifts that, under certain circumstances, can quickly grow in size and importance and become vital measures.
